Tibor Göncz, Credit Manager, IBM Europe
Tibor Göncz is Credit Manager of IBM Europe covering IBM’s corporate clients from the non-finance sector in the UK, Nordics, Benelux, Iberia, Israel and Greece. He joined IBM in 2006 as a Credit Analyst for Germany and had Team Leader roles covering Nordics and UK in the coming years. From 2010 he has taken a global role within IBM Credit being responsible for the monthly and quarterly portfolio reviews of the major IBM clients worldwide. Enlarging his understanding of the wider IBM business he was the CFO of IBM Global Financing unit in the Central and Eastern European region before his current position. He has a team of 17 Credit Analysts located in Budapest, where IBM has one of its major Shared Service Centers providing credit assessment services for all IBM’s Hardware, Software, Services and Financing deals without any local presence of credit resources in his territory. Tibor has an Msc degree in Economics with special field of Corporate Finance and he has an MBA from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences.
Marcin Petrykowski, Managing Director - Head of EMEA Relationship Management / Regional Head CEE / CEO Poland Branch, Standard & Poor's
Marcin Petrykowski joined Standard & Poor’s in January 2014. Since then he is S&P’s Regional Head for Central and Eastern Europe and in this capacity responsible for S&P’s franchise, strategy as well as management of the ratings business across the region. Marcin is also S&P’s Ratings General Manager for Poland, running the Warsaw branch office, firm’s hub for Central and Eastern Europe. From March 2015 appointed Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Relationship Management, leading a senior team based in London, Paris, Frankfurt and across the office network (Madrid, Milan, Stockholm, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel-Aviv, Johannesburg, Dubai) structuring firm wide partnerships with S&P’s top tier strategic clients. Within this role also runs commercially the infrastructure and project finance business for EMEA.
Before joining Standard & Poor’s, Marcin was Executive Director, Investor Services Head of Coverage for Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS and Israel at J.P. Morgan Corporate and Investment Bank in London. With the Bank, Marcin also served as the Deputy General Manager for J.P. Morgan branch office in Poland. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2007, he spent five years with Citi Corporate and Investment Banking, focusing on Poland and CEE. Marcin is a graduate of Citi’s Management Associate program.
Marcin is an FCA-approved investment advisor, with higher education obtained from Koźmiński University (Warsaw, Poland - Management and International Trade Affairs); School of Economics and Management (Lund, Sweden – International Finance) and University of Warsaw (post graduate program for CFO’s).
Anthony Scriffignano, Senior Vice President, Chief Data Scientist, Dun & Bradstreet
Anthony Scriffignano has over 35 years experience in information
technologies, Big-4 management consulting, and international business. Sciffignano leverages deep data expertise and global relationships to position Dun & Bradstreet with strategic customers, partners, and governments. A key thought leader in D&B’s worldwide efforts to discover, curate, and synthesize business information in multiple languages, geographies, and contexts, he has also held leadership positions in D&B’s Technology and Operations organizations. Dr. Scriffignano has extensive background in linguistics and advanced computer algorithms, leveraging that background as primary inventor on multiple patents and patents pending for D&B.
Scriffignano has also held senior positions with other multinational organizations. This experience includes extremely large ERP implementations and worldwide organizational change and technology adaptation efforts. He has advised firms in financial services, manufacturing (chemicals and pharmaceuticals) and information technologies. He maintains CPIM certification from APICS, the internationally-recognized Association for Operations Management, in production and inventory management.
Vassilis Korkidis, President, ESEE
Since 2009, Vassilis Korkidis has been the President of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) and since 2013 the President of Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also the President of the Committee for Industry and Shipping of the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) and the Vice-President of the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (UEAPME) while he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of EuroCommerce as well as of the Board of Directors of ENTERPRISE GREECE.
Previously, he held various positions such as President of the Traders Association of Piraeus, Vice-Chairman of the Hellenic Institute for Health and Safety at Work, member of the Piraeus Port Authority Board of Administrators and more. During his studies, he specialized in shipbuilding and ship management as well as maritime law and international commerce and transport. He is the manager of two family-owned commercial enterprises active in import-export of electrical equipment and procurements for shipping and manufacturing.
Platon Monokroussos, Chief Economist, Eurobank Group
Dr. Platon Monokroussos is Group Chief Economist and Deputy General Manager of Eurobank Ergasias S.A., one of the four systemic banks in Greece. He is Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Hellenic Bank Association and its representative to the Chief Economists Group (CEG) of the European Banking Federation. He is also a member of Board of Directors of Grivalia Properties REIC, a public company which manages one of the most important commercial property portfolios in Greece and Eastern Europe. He holds a Professional Qualification Certificate for the provision of investment services (type D) issued by the Bank of Greece. Before joining Eurobank, he held high-level positions in leading financial institutions, including ABN AMRO and Bank of America. Dr. Monokroussos holds a Bachelor's degree in theoretical Mathematics (University of Crete, Greece), Masters Degrees in Economics (Clark University, Worcester, MA USA) and Business Administration (Boston College, Wallace E. Carroll School of Management Boston, MA USA) as well as a Diploma in Business and Corporate Leadership from Harvard Business Publishing. He received his Ph.D. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Doctorate thesis on foreign exchange microstructure). Dr. Monokroussos has written extensively on contemporary macroeconomic and financial issues and he is co-editor of the book “A Crisis Manual: A Retrospect of the Crisis and the Road to Recovery”, Palgrave Macmillan Studies in Banking and Financial Institutions Series (upcoming – September 2015). He has participated as a speaker in numerous international economic forums and has regularly been cited in the international financial press and newswires, including Financial Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and Bloomberg. Furthermore, he has appeared on CNN, BBC, CNBC as well as other leading broadcasters. In recent years, his team has repeatedly been included in the Reuters top-10 list of most accurate global forecasters of major exchange rates.
